Hand-painted and hand-lacquered icon of Veronica’s veil and the Holy Face of Christ adorn this black wooden Easter egg.
Written in the eastern Byzantine tradition, it features an Eastern Cross on verso. Beautiful gold detailing frames the Holy Face.
This is a salvaged antique product. Very good condition, consistent with age. Measures approximately 5 inches tall by 4 wide. May be used devotionally as part of a home shrine, or decoratively on an Easter table or in an Easter basket.
Clean with a soft dusting cloth and wood orange oil.
