A gorgeous chromo-typography gilt print depicting a glorious medieval-style Transfiguration on Mt. Tabor from a folio of medieval art miniatures produced by Ludwig Lott in the 1850s in Vienna. This is plate 62: Transfiguratio, D[omini]. N[ostri]. J[esu]. Chr[isti].

An online University Library holdings description provides the following attribution details:

Chromo-Typographie & Kunstverlag von Ludwig Lott, printer: Collection of beautiful miniatures reproduced in facsimile from original paintings chiefly of the 14th and 15th centuries : the period when the great masters of miniature painting flourished, and whose works are now preserved in the celebrated ecclesiastical and public libraries of Germany and Austria, where they are seen and admired by multitudes / (London : John Davis, publisher, 24, Queen Victoria Street, E.C., [between 1857 and 1905])

Note: Imprint on each plate: "Chromo-Typographie & Kunstverlag von Ludwig Lott in Wien."
The original German publication has been variously dated in the 1860s; Davis established his business in 1857.
Some copies were issued with a single color title leaf naming Davis as the "sole agent for Great Britain and Belgium" and giving his address as "201 Old Kent Road, S.E." In this issue, the two preliminary leaves are printed letterpress (the second is a list of the plates).
